ORANJESTAD - Aruba's baseball and softball community has an international celebration to look forward to as Baseball & Softball in Paradise marks its sixth edition in 2026. The event's promotional poster announces a grand opening in Pos Chiquito on Monday, October 12, with team arrival scheduled for 19:00 (7 p.m.).
The opening celebration advertises brassband, fireworks and dancers, bringing a festive atmosphere to the start of the event.
More than 60 teams from different countries
The poster promotes participation by more than 60 teams and displays flags representing the Netherlands, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Anguilla, the United States, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Sint Maarten, Colombia and the Dominican Republic.
That international mix puts Aruba at the center of a gathering of young players, coaches and families united by baseball and softball.
Youth baseball and softball
The advertised categories are U9, U11, U13, U15 and U20, alongside softball. The poster also prominently names Kudawecha Stadium, while identifying Pos Chiquito for the grand opening. It does not provide a full playing schedule or specify which categories will play at each venue.
For families and supporters planning to attend, those venue details are worth distinguishing: Pos Chiquito is the location advertised for the opening, and Kudawecha Stadium is also featured on the event announcement. Game times, admission details and the complete tournament schedule are not included in the supplied poster.
One game, one dream, one paradise
With its slogan, 'One game, one dream, one paradise!', the sixth edition highlights the shared spirit of the event: bringing baseball and softball communities together in Aruba.
